Belmont/Bayswater Winter Fun Preschool Play attendees past and present, we need your help and input!
Kia ora koutou!  We are planning our upcoming events for 2020 and want to collaborate with you all to help us serve the community the best way we can, in these current times.

We would usually be starting our Winter Fun Preschool Play programme at The Rose Centre, Belmont in June.  As it won’t be possible to provide the programme in the usual format, we’ve come up with some alternative options and would value your family’s opinion.

Please click on "Read more" below to complete our survey and share your thoughts. Thank you for your help!

Belmont/Bayswater Winter Fun Preschool Play attendees past and present, we need your help and input!
PLEASE READ THE THREE POSSIBLE SUGGESTIONS AND THEN RANK THEM AS YOUR 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PREFERRED OPTIONS BELOW:
(*Note: with all options, strict hygiene processes will be adhered to, in accordance with Government guidelines):
OPTION A: Restricted Winter Fun Preschool Play programme at The Rose Centre
  • Shorter than usual programme (late July start – late October finish and not held in school holidays)
  • Shorter sessions (1 hour duration – to allow time for toy cleaning)
  • Limited participants (20 people: 10 adults/10 children) – managed by a booking system or first-in-first-served basis.
  • Contact tracing systems in place.
  • Limited range of easy to clean toys available
  • Strict policy on non-attendance for unwell participants – people will be turned away if there is any sign of being unwell.

OPTION B: Free mobile toy library (no traditional Winter Fun Preschool play programme)
  • Families sign up to be members of our free mobile toy library.
  • A bond is paid at the start of the programme and returned in full at the end if there is no loss or damage to toys.
  • Toys available to borrow would be viewed on our website with orders by way of an email to our programme coordinator.
  • Toys would be hired for a week at a time at no extra cost.
  • Toys would be delivered and collected weekly by us, to your home.
  • Programme could run from early June to end of October (not in school holidays).

OPTION C: No winter programmes offered – a bigger Summer Fun Preschool Play programme offered instead
  • Programme would start earlier than usual (early September)
  • An extra session per week (3 instead of 2)
  • Sessions held at parks with some areas of sealed ground (grass areas will likely still be soft and muddy in September)
  • Contact tracing systems in place.

PLEASE SELECT YOUR 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PREFERRED OPTIONS:

We have two more questions that are open ended:

    Thank you for your time!
