Mount your bike and put on your ghost shoes for the 6thannual Bayswater Halloween Trail!
Taking place on Friday 26th October, 5pm-7pm, starting at Bayswater Park, we promise another fun filled evening with new games and activities and some fantastic prizes up for grabs – visit www.devonportpeninsulatrust.nz for more details.
Auckland Heritage Festival continues during the first part of October. If you haven’t checked out any of the events yet, there is still time!
Our free Winter Fun Preschool Play continues at The Rose Centre in Belmont every Tuesday, 9:30am-11:00am until 30th October, including in the school holidays. The sessions are free and it’s a great chance for children and their caregivers to get out, be active, meet new people and make new friends while the days are still wet and chilly.
You will also find our preschool toys at International PARK(ing) Day in Devonport on Friday 21st September. Devonport Peninsula Trust is taking part in this event, organised by Devonport architecture firms and businesses, who are taking over the car parks and redesigning them for human use, rather than a single vehicle.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Community Network Meeting on Thursday morning at the Devonport Yacht Club.
We are especially grateful to our guest speakers: Ann Nguyen and James Ireland from AT who came and spoke about the trial EV shuttle service that is coming to Devonport soon. Ann and James gave a good overview on how the service will work.
We have moved! The office of the Devonport Community Coordinator and Devonport Peninsula Trust has moved to Fort Takapuna at 170 Vauxhall Rd, Devonport. Our office is in the A12 building, looking out over Fort Takapuna Reserve to the Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf. There is ample parking so next time you are passing, pop in for a visit and check out our new digs! Call or text Maria on 027 924 3494
